Berkshire Museum Camera Club Fall 2017

“BerkshireNow: Images from the Berkshire Museum Camera Club” will be open to the public free of charge as part of Pittsfield’s First Fridays Artswalk, Friday, March 2nd, from 5 to 8 pm.

See the work of local photographers from the Berkshire Museum Camera Club on view in the Berkshire Museum’s BerkshireNow gallery!

A new display of photographs by members of the Camera Club will be on view each month during the exhibition, ranging from landscapes and still lifes to portraits, and even images that demonstrate new or experimental techniques and technologies.

The Berkshire Museum Camera Club was founded in 1937. The club has always been dedicated to advancing the art of photography, first with black and white film, then to color, and now exploring the dimensions of digital photography. For 80 years, photographers ranging from novices to experts have participated in various workshops, tutorials, competitions, and exhibitions. Open to everyone, BMCC meets twice a month during the academic year, on the first and third Tuesdays at 7 pm, at Berkshire Museum. For meeting dates and more information, visit
